About Vinyl Wraps
At Dipping Unlimited I do not do “economy wraps”. Vinyl wrapping a vehicle is a detail oriented process with any car. The average vehicle takes about 1-2 weeks depending on the vehicle and current schedule. In order to ensure the best possible finish, preparation is a critical part of the process. I take the time to strip the car down fully and wrap each panel individually, finishing the vinyl around each corner and edge for a complete color changing wrap that will last much longer than a basic economy wrap.!Between solid colors or printed designs, the possibilities are endless.
Preparation is everything to ensure the best outcome. I take the time to remove, fully clean, and sanitize everything that will be wrapped which includes:
- Front and rear bumpers
- Headlights and taillights
- Mirrors and side markers
- Door handles and door seals
- Window trim
- Grilles and spoilers (if any)
- Other parts (as needed)
Types of Vinyl
The type of vinyl used on your project is largely dependent on the color you choose and what is available. At Dipping Unlimited I only use vinyl products from the following suppliers:
Vinyl wrapping is not just for vehicles and can be used in many applications such as boats, motorcycles, RV’s airplanes, sports equipment and many other practical uses. With proper care vinyl wraps have a longevity of 5-10 years, which makes them a great short or long term solution for adding some color to your life.
